ELEVATE FEST 2022:

In the month of September, 50 TKS Innovators were selected to experience their first tech conference.

I was lucky enough to be selected to attend this tech conference.

When I first entered Meridian Hall, I immediately felt a sense of joy. Being in an environment filled with the next generation of innovators is quite the feeling. I attended talks about the next generation of self-driving cars, what it takes to be Canada's next unicorn, the power of exponential innovation, what it takes to win, and the world of esports with FaZe CBass.

However, I soon learned a very important lesson. The best part about Elevate wasn't the lectures, but it was the people I met.

Teenage Lesson of the Month:

"Network, network, network, and most importantly, listen."

I learned a lot more from simply walking up and speaking to people.

Nancy (another TKS student) and I decided to go around Meridian Hall and simply reach out and interview industry experts.

I started posting on TikTok quite a while a go. What started as gamer posting nonchalant gaming clips slowly turned into a serious online brand. Through many niche switches and content breaks, I have finally figured out my personal brand. I am going to be documenting my journey in TKS.
